Committees

The IIYF’26 committees form an interdisciplinary structure that connects different fields of the Islamic sciences with current issues.

The committees established within IIYF are planned to represent different disciplines of the Islamic sciences. Each committee addresses the key issues of its field using academic methods while also encouraging interdisciplinary interaction. Participants thus have the opportunity to examine closely not only their own field but also how other branches of knowledge approach the subject.

Committee work includes analyzing sources, conceptual assessment, interpreting current issues from a scholarly perspective, developing proposed solutions and preparing joint outcome documents. All work is carried out with a research approach grounded in reliable sources.

This structure allows participants to deepen their knowledge of their own field while grasping the relationships between different branches of knowledge, thinking from multiple angles and developing a culture of academic collaboration. The committee system is one of the key elements that strengthen the scholarly quality of the forum.

At IIYF, committee work will be conducted simultaneously in three working languages: Turkish, Arabic and English. Each committee will hold its sessions in its designated working language, and participants will carry out their deliberations, academic assessments and exchanges of ideas in that language.
