Main theme
The 21st century is a period in which the Islamic world is not only confronting existing problems but also faces the responsibility of redefining its own future.
IIYF’26 does not stop at analyzing problems through the lens of global balances, technology, the economy, conflicts, humanitarian crises and cultural change; it aims to develop shared thinking and practicable perspectives for solutions.
A multidimensional approach
Politics, economics, science, education, culture and international relations.
Collective reasoning
Common ground for deliberation across countries and intellectual traditions.
A simultaneous process
Three languages, committee work and the Summit stage.
Actors of the future
Young people carrying their proposed solutions into a shared vision for the Ummah.
Beyond the conference: a hands-on education model
IIYF’26 moves participants out of the role of passive listeners and places them at the heart of research, deliberation and the joint drafting of texts. It aims to instill a deep sense of mission in the Ummah of the future.

The Triple Procedure
IIYF’26 is built on three complementary working formats so that participants can experience different forms of diplomatic and academic work.
- 01
Panel Session
Expert academics and scholars will address current issues under the theme “The Islamic World and Youth in the 21st Century”, sharing their knowledge and experience with participants. The sessions aim to introduce young people to different scholarly perspectives and broaden their intellectual horizons.
- 02
Committee Session
The main arena for deliberation and debate. Participants present their views on the set agenda, assess different approaches and work toward a well-founded shared understanding.
- 03
Summit
The final and highest stage of the triple procedure. The results of the previous sessions are assessed from a broader perspective, and differing views are reconciled to shape joint resolutions and final outcomes.
The chance to experience deliberation, crisis management and high-level decision-making within a single event.
Six committees, one academic framework
The IIYF’26 committees form an interdisciplinary structure that connects different fields of the Islamic sciences with current issues.

Consultative Board
The Consultative Board is neither a conventional chairing body nor a panel that merely runs the procedure; it is an advisory guidance mechanism.
- Guidance: Advises participants on the process when needed.
- Facilitation: Helps deliberations proceed in a sound and orderly way.
- Participants’ agency: Decision-making authority remains with the participants.
Participants at the heart of producing knowledge
Academic gains
Scientific research methods, use of sources, academic writing, presentation and critical thinking.
Communication and collaboration
Teamwork, listening to different views, the etiquette of scholarly debate and finding common ground.
Personal development
Self-confidence, a sense of responsibility, thinking from multiple angles and the motivation to contribute to society.
IIYF’26 aims to raise not merely an informed Ummah, but one that researches, questions, produces and takes responsibility.
